Alex Tew, the creator of Million Dollar Homepage also has another venue: Pixelotto.
Ok, same idea, same template, same site, but looks like he added some new tweaks.

Another cool similar idea is Million Dollar Wiki, where you can buy any word for $100. Advertisers have deep pockets, so with the required media attention these ideas work well.

Follow the Money
One of the most important business laws that people frequently omit.
Don’t go looking for the smallest and least competitive niche, but rather go into something more mainstream.
Many times I’ve seen people concentrating on a very small niche and then after achieving the serps realizing that there is simply not enough traffic and demand in that niche and it can’t be expanded further either.
Aim big, but start small and grow gradually.
In online business it’s usually better to get a small piece of the bigger pie, so that you’ll have more options to extend.
If you are trying to choose which idea to pursue, out of relatively similar potential ideas, go for the one that has bigger potential!

Simply put, from all the current investment opportunities premium domain names provide the highest possible returns.
A couple quick examples:
For the last half a year I’ve concentrated on building a portfolio of quality domain names. I try to stick to .coms only and I mostly go for premium generics and 3-4 letter domains.
So I’ve managed to grab a large number of premium LLLL.com’s at decent prices and I think these are the best ones to hold on to at current time. Premium LLLL.com domains (containing only letters: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L, M, N, O, P, R, S, T) are now selling at minimum prices of $150-200 and CVCV.com’s (like goru.com, bohy.com) are now selling in low-mid $x,xxx. While this might sound like quite expensive for useless 4 letter domains, these are actually the most brandable of all domain name groups possible, consider VISA.com, HULU.com etc.
Generic domains rule because they bring very targeted traffic and are great for development. Although good generics are expensive. Anything decent is above $10k nowdays.
Another good option is buying domains with traffic, but these mostly include typo domains with possible TM problems. Unless you really know what you’re doing better stay away from these - this is a shady area, because according to anti cybersquatting laws there is a maximum $100K fee per domain that is in violation with an existing trademark and was registered in bad faith.
One advice to beginning domainers: Go .com!
Warning: Don’t play this game if you’re planning to get something done in the following few days.
One of the recent Tower Defense games: set and upgrade towers to prevent ants from stealing you pizza I managed to get to 64th level and scored about 11k points, so.. beat that
Only wasted about 6 hours on this one, not much compared to the 3 days I played another tower defense game I found about a month ago.
ughh is there some firefox extension that blocks addictive games?
Now back to work, got a bunch of stuff to do for today.

Those who know me know that I’ve been building adsense scraper sites by the thousands and it worked pretty well back then. Site got indexed quick in google and traffic was good. I used to put ads above the fold and hide, or lower the text to get maximum ctr and adsense was bringing on average over $100 per 1000 visitors.
But these times have long gone. First google started banning new domains much faster, without giving them enough traffic and then Adsense closed few of my main accounts and on the recent one (about half a year ago) I wasn’t even paid the earnings for last month. They explained it simply by saying they didn’t like my business model, that is building sites for the sole purpose of sering ads. Oh well..
So I had to rebuild my whole adsense system into making good looking sites which will be within the tos, which caused the cpm to go down all the way down to just around $10-20 making the whole idea rather unprofitable.
I’ve tried many things with adsense since then, but in the end I gave it up. Building crappy adsense sites doesn’t pay anymore and if you’re still doing it you’re probably earning pennies. It sure was a good ride, but anything good comes to an end.
Targeted longtail traffic still pays off good in many niches, like ringtones, loans, gambling, dating etc if monetized with affiliate programs. While still being longtail it’s a different approach from what we did with adsense - trying to find the best keywords, with low competition, good traffic and decent clicks.
You can still make some $$ with adsense, but it can’t be scaled any more and not worth the effort.
So to all those doing adsense - are you making good money? No, then leave it! Same time and effort can be better applied in other areas ![]()

Soma is a muscle relaxer that works by blocking pain sensations between the nerves and the brain. It’s Generic Name is carisoprodol and it’s also known as Vanadom.
“buy soma” has an overture count of 1,245.2/day - about twice than that of buy viagra, and is one of the most profitable rx drugs.
Check out the buy soma serps in Google, first site is buysoma.org which is some basic html page with adsense.. Somebody please tell this guy he’s losing $1-2K/day by not putting an affiliate site, or at least a few affiliate links to buy soma, instead of the crappy adsense ads.
Btw if you want to make some easy cash set up a quick some shop site and then go to adwords and advertise on this site - you’re getting the most targeted traffic possible at a cheap price. Conversation rates should be pretty high
An interesting observation is this page (site?) has barely 200 backlinks in yahoo and most are from other sites that scraped the soma serps. Does google give that much weight to good and aged domains? Apparently, and it makes sense too, since premium domains usually represent established and trusted sites. Which is another good reason to invest in domains.
So how do you rank for a highly competitive pharmacy keyword? There are two ways:
Either you prefer the long term, or the short term black hat seo approach (and if you ask me - you should do both!) there is a lot of money to be made in the serps. Don’t pay attention to the large competition, have the right plan and carry it out consequently and you’ll be successful!

Just thought it would be cool to have this post rank in google for Spamalicious
And I’ve been working on some really Spamalicious projects lately.
